Once you click 'Send' to deliver an alert/message through Simplified Alerts it is queued on our distribution server for sending. Every 3 minutes server time all queued alerts are released and sent to the carrier (like Sprint, Verizon, ATT, etc.).
Once the message leaves our server it is delivered to the individual carrier and any number of factors can impact the delivery of the messages.
Carriers may slow down the delivery of text messages if they are experiencing a high volume of texts in any given period of time. Other factors can impact the delivery of messages including geographic location, phone reception and account status.
We do the best we can to ensure message delivery; however we can’t control the execution of text messages once they arrive at the carrier. We include an email message option with each send in the event that text messages are delayed.
For example, we may experience intermittent delays with TMobile subscribers. Often, delivery issues will resolve themselves. However, if you continue to experience significant delays please contact our support system at email@example.com.
